A Typical Hooptown Summer Day

We provide you with this schedule as a sample of some of the traditional features of our summer camp program. In keeping with our philosophy that 'fun' is of vital importance, we have been known to go off the board and interject shooting competitions, beat the coach, buzzer beaters, or any one of a number of other motivational segments to keep the atmosphere lively and energetic.

9:00    Camp Starts - Attendance, announcements, pizza orders
9:15 - 9:45      Offensive Skill Work
                                   Ivy and Big Ten - Dunn Gym
                                    College and Pro - Field House
9:45 - 10:15     Fast Break Drills
10:45 - 11:30   Canteen and Foul Shots
10:45 - 11:30   Attendance - 3 on 3 Competition
11:30 - 12:15    College and Pro Games in the Field House
                                  Ivy & Big Ten  will go to lunch 
                         (then they use Dunn Gym for 3 on 3 , Beat the Coach, Sport Stacking and Knockout

12:15 - 1:00     Ivy and Big Ten Games in the Field House

1:00 - 1:30      Attendance - 1 on 1 competition
1:30 - 1:55      Camp Shootout
1:55 - 2:00      Wrap up and Camper of the Day Awards

Awards Ceremony:
Each Friday, camp will end with our traditional awards Ceremony beginning at 1:30.  Competition (1 on 1, team 3 on 3, foul shooting, knockout) will begin at 12:00. All campers will participate in the team 3 on 3 competition and knockout. The 1 on 1 and foul shooting will be the finals in each division.  Every camper receives a personal evaluation from their coach at the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony.

Camper Pick-up /Alternative Pick-Up/Carpool Permission:
At the end of each camp day, all campers will be dismissed from their teams by Camp Director (Coach Fazio). It is the responsibility of the parents to locate and make contact with their children upon camp dismissal at 2:00. Campers will only be released to parents or to an individual who is designated  by the parents. These notes (by parents) and all car pool arrangements  will be kept by the Health Care Supervisor for easy access and verification.
 Alternative Pick-Up/Permission 

CANTEEN 2022
A canteen account is available for the safe keeping of campers' money to be used for the purchase of water, sports drinks, ice cream and pizza. Campers are given a canteen break each morning, in addition to their daily lunch period. You may choose to make a deposit into Canteen account at any time during the week. This will allow camper to make purchases without having to carry cash with them each day.  Any money remaining in your child's account can be withdrawn on Friday.
Confirmation Email:
When we receive your child's completed registration we will send you a confirmation email. 
Covid - 19
Grades:
Grades 2 - 10   Campers must be entering grade 2 in the Fall of 2022
Hours:
Camp hours are Monday - Friday,  9:00am - 2:00pm.  Doors will open every morning at 8:00am for additional shooting time, camp will start at 9:00.  We do not offer a extended day, so please make arrangement  to pick up your child at 2:00
Health Care Supervisor:
We have a full time Health Care Supervisors on duty. All injuries will be reported and treated by the Health Care Supervisor according to the Hooptown procedures for specific injuries.
Insurance:
Every camper must be covered by family or accident and health care. Parents are encouraged to consult with their insurance company to insure campers have adequate coverage.
Lunch:
Each camper must provide their own lunch. It is parent's responsibility to insure that their child's lunch has adequate cold packs to insure a safe temperature. For your benefit, we will provide your child with the opportunity to purchase pizza, drinks, snack and ice cream.  
Medication:
Our Health Care Supervisor cannot dispense any medication sent from home, prescription or non prescription, to a child without the following: 
A signed and completed Medical Form on file with the Health Care Supervisor
A completed  Authorization to Administer Medications to a Camper.
*The name of the medicine, dosage, dates and time of day that medicine is to be given should be clearly indicated.
All medications (prescription and over the counter) must be in its original container. Prescription medication must have the original pharmacy label.

Physician's Report and Immunization Records:
 Campers cannot attend without camp without a Physician's Report and Immunization Records on file. Hooptown must comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Andover Board of Health. In order to meet these requirements, a copy of your child's most recent Physician's Report and Immunization Records  (dated & signed within 18 months of  camp)
All forms must be submitted within 7 days of registering online. 


Practice Jerseys
All campers will receive their Reversible Hooptown Basketball Camp practice jersey on their first day of camp. Please have camper wear jersey daily.  Take a moment and review our size chart. Camper will receive the size that you order.  
 
Sizes we offer are Youth Med - Adult XL   (Adult Jersey's do run big so we suggest you size down)

Refund Policy - 
Tuition is refundable as follows: For cancellations received to Hooptown before June 1, 2022, tuition will be refundable. For cancellations made on or after June 1, 2022, no refund, credit, or tuition reduction shall be given, regardless of the reason for canceling or waitlist. Campers who attends a session late, leaves early or miss days,  (whether due to illness, medical reasons, or at the election of camper or family)  No refund, reduction in fees, proration, or credit will be given. Transfer of registration with another family is not allowed.
Notice of all changes must be sent via email to Hooptown at coachfaz@hoooptowncamp.com
Tuition
The fee for attending Hooptown  Summer 2022 is  $325.00  per week.  
Multi Session Discount  $25.00 off of each additional session.

Outstanding personal and team coaching
Use of the Andover High School Field House and Dunn Gymnasium
8:00 - 9:00 additional free shooting time
On site Canteen - (Pizza, Snacks, Ice Cream, Water and Gatorade for purchase)
Use of the Shoot-Away shooting machine
Availability of a full time Health Care Supervisor

Waiting List
If we receive your child's registration and it is incomplete (missing Physician's report, immunization records, emergency form information and or payment) we will send an email indicating what information is missing and will place your child on the waiting list for the week(s) you are requesting.
