SHOOTING SKILLS
There are no secrets when it comes to shooting. The best shooters are the ones who practice (a lot)!!!
1 Range Finder Start close to basket – in front – when you make 3 shots in a row step back –
when you miss 2 shots in a row – move in
2 +7/-7 Shooting Game If you make a shot you get a point – if you miss a shot take 2 points off of your
score. The object is to get 7 points before you get to -7 points
3 10 – 5 Make 10 shots – before you miss 5. Shots should come from the foul line and wing (around cones)
4 Michigan Shooting Using 5 perimeter spots around hoop – shoot from the same spot, scoring 1
point for each made shot. Shoot until you miss 2 in a row – then go onto the 2nd spot. Continue to all 5 spots
5 Make a minimum of 50 foul shots per day!!!
