Each Friday, camp will end with our traditional Awards Ceremony beginning at 1:30. Competitions (1 on 1, team 3 on 3, foul shooting, knockout) will begin at 12:00. All campers will participate in the team 3 on 3 competition and knockout. The 1 on 1 and foul shooting will be the "finals" in each division. Every camper will receive a personal evaluation from their coach at the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony.
Once your child has been confirmed for enrollment in camp - THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS MADE WITH LESS THAN A ONE WEEK NOTICE (You will lose your entire $225). Additionally, $100 of your application fee PER WEEK becomes NONREFUNDABLE for cancellations made with more than a one week notice!
Parents may not "trade" weeks with other families to avoid the cancellation fee. We establish waiting lists for campers and accept campers off of the waiting list as spots become available on a first come, first served basis (in the order in which camper's completed applications are received).
A Canteen is available for the safe keeping of campers' money to be used for the purchase of soda, sports drinks, ice cream, candy and pizza. Campers are given a canteen break each morning, in addition to their daily lunch period. You may choose to make a deposit into a Canteen "account" at any time during the week. This will allow your child to make purchases without having to carry cash/change with them each day. Any money remaining in your child's account can be withdrawn on Friday.
When we receive your child's completed application we will send you a confirmation letter verifying yur acceptance into Hooptown. Campers with incomplete applications will be placed on the waiting list.
Hooptown must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and be licensed by the Andover Board of Health. In order to meet these requirements, a copy of your child's most recent physical (dated within 24 months of attending camp) AND a copy of your child's immunization record (indicating that your child is up to date with regard to immunizations) MUST be included with your application. PLEASE NOTE: We need a new copy of your child’s physical each year. We do not have the space to archive physicals and carry them over from year to year for you. No camper will be registered for camp without these forms.
Additional Hooptown merchandise (practice tops, t-shirts, shorts) will be available for purchase each and every day that camp is in session. Speed Stacks (cup stacking) and timing mats will also be made available for purchase. Please check out this year's hot items as you first enter the Field House.
Every camper must be covered by family or other accident and health insurance. Parents are encouraged to consult with their insurance advisor to insure that campers have adequate coverage.

Each camper must provide their own lunch. It is the parent's responsibility to insure that their child's lunch has adequate cold packs to insure a safe temperature. For your benefit, we will provide your child with the opportunity to purchase pizza, drinks, snacks and ice cream.
Hooptown's Super Session is for boys entering grades 5 - 10. This week is about more than "skills and drills" as we help our older campers prepare for their upcoming seasons. All of our camp weeks provide a quality experience for campers in 4 divisions Ivy, Big East, College and Pro. All games, 1 on 1, 3 on 3 and station work will be done within each division. However, some of our "fun" shooting competitions may involve a mixture of players from various divisions. From a basketball standpoint, we will be teaching more advanced individual moves (offensive "go to" moves, offensive moves off the dribble, attack moves from the triple threat, precision passing) and we will also offer "clinics" on post/perimeter play. Our coaches will emphasize the mental and physical preparation (shooting with confidence, summer conditioning) and team concepts that are expected of players who are serious about the game of basketball. We will incorporate more live action competitive drills into the week and these campers will play 2 games per day during this Super Session! This is a great opportunity for your son to be introduced to a more advanced level of play all while enjoying the fun of Hooptown!
All campers will receive their Hooptown Basketball Camp t-shirt on the first day of each session. We order our t-shirts based on the size that you indicate on your child's application - so please be as accurate as possible regarding your child's size.
• If we receive your child's application and it is incomplete (missing completed application, physical, immunization record or payment) we will send you a post card indicating what information is missing and will place your child on the waiting list for the week(s) you are requesting. Campers will be removed from the waiting list - and confirmed for enrollment - when their application materials are complete - on a first come, first served basis.
• If we receive your child's application for a week that is already full - your child will be placed on the waiting list. Campers will be removed from the waiting list - and then confirmed - on a first come, first served basis.
